Travel Operators Scope of Work

August 17th, 2008 by admin

Travel operators normally create a holiday package for a single or a group of travelers. The most common example of their product would be a flight on a commercial or charter plane, transfer from the airport to the hotel and the services of a local representative or what is known as a tour guide, event tickets, all for one price. There are travel operators who specialize on a destination or adventure tours. They exist for the purpose of making arrangements for those who wish to travel to far flung areas where currency, language, communication and transport are expected to be problematic. Travel operators make travel arrangements for group tours and company outings a lot easier and cost effective since they usually have contracts with airlines, hotels and local tourism groups.
