In recent months, the growing popularity of the r4ds memory card for the Nintendo DS has increased the sales of the Nintendo DS. But what is so special about the R4 DS? Well first off, it gives gamers the opportunity to upload third party apps and games onto their Nintendo DS. With the popularity of the iPhone, this ability makes the Nintendo DS an alternative way for portable entertainment. In addition, with the introduction of the DSi, which includes a built-in camara and plays videos and music, the DSi is looking like a device that could directly compete with the iPhone. The DS includes a touchscreen like the iPhone, so consumers would find that very attractive.
