Step ups – It is a good exercise for all the leg muscles. A bench is needed in front of you. Discover how to jump higher with step ups: start by lifting your greater leg and then step up onto the bench. Return to the starting position and repeat the process (maybe by using the other leg first).
Squat Hops – When repeated, this exercise will build the core and lower body strength. A basketball or similar object may help with balance. Discover how to jump higher with squat hops: in an athletic position (but with ball), squat down with back straight and feet fully on the floor. Then raise yourself with your toes and hop into the air (2-3 inches) in that squat position repeating the hop a number of times and finally leaping out as high as you can from the squat position.
Calf Raises – It improves the muscle tones. First, you need a support (wall, stair railing). Discover how to jump higher with calf raises: balance on your feet balls with heels hanging off the step (starting and ending position). Then rise slowly with the toes resulting to a straight body; hold the position before lowering yourself back.
