The magnifying lens

November 2nd, 2009 by admin

A Fresnel lens is a thin optical lens consisting of concentric rings of segmental lenses having a short focal length. The magnifying lens can be a Fresnel lens or any other type of magnifying device. The magnifying lens is slidably mounted between the pair of opposing channels. In another embodiment, the display screen is recessed within the housing, and the slot is aligned between the pair of opposing channels. The magnifying lens can be rotated by a magnifying lamp user about the hinge at least 180 degrees. The pin facilitates rotation of the magnifying lens between the first and second positions. However, by this arrangement, the magnifying lens is mounted to the housing over the display screen by a pin.
