Reasons why salt does not dissolve based on water softener reviews
October 24th, 2009 by admin
So you have already added the salt as per the recommendations from water softener reviews and yet there is no change and the salt is not dissolving. What could be the reason for this one? This may happen when the salt once added to the water will revert to small crystals. And these crystals will then combine in order to make a thick layer known in the industry as mushing. When this thing happens then what you need to do is to remove the mush and you have to replace this with fresh salt pellets. This will happen in some cases so be ready to address this.
