Creating Cottage Gardens
September 3rd, 2008 by admin
Cottage gardens are perfect if you like greenery but don’t have enough time to take care of a garden. They were created in England to provide food. Food plants and flowering herbs were normally planted in these cottage gardens. Flowers decorate and help preventing weeds. The shade will keep the soil from evaporating, which means less watering required. Nowadays, Cottage gardens are decorative. Many of the methods and designs haven’t changed. You can now plant anything you want in these modern cottage gardens. Work in plants and flowers growing close together and you will have your own cottage garden.
