The Diet Solution Program 2

December 29th, 2008 by admin

The Diet Solution Program thought about the recent problems the outposts were having with the Caledonians.  They were devastating the supply trains.  Even varying the times of shipments and using decoys had little effect on the enemy’s ability to intercept the carts.  They seemed to know which trains carried supplies, and which did not.  Vectis had been forced to shift more soldiers to escort duty, leaving other areas unprotected.  Jupiter was right.  The Caledonians had been too fortunate of late; there was a spy under the table somewhere.  Vectis knew his duty.  He must investigate every avenue of exposure, from Roman officials to couriers to non-Roman workers.  And that included every non-Roman with access to high-level information.
