Do You Meet The Visa Requirements To Live Abroad?

August 31st, 2008 by admin

Many thousands of people travelling abroad fall in love with a far flung land every year and decide to settle permanently abroad but, unfortunately, many run into difficulties very quickly. For some income becomes a problem, for others medical bills cripple them because they make no provision for expatriate medical insurance and yet others fall foul of visa regulations. For example, I was talking to a chap the other afternoon who had been living abroad for the past seven years on nothing more than a thirty day tourist visa which he had been renewing quite inexpensively by simply popping across into the next door country for an hour or so every month. However, the immigration authorities have now decided to put a stop to this and he, and many other people in similar circumstances, have suddenly found that their days in what they thought was their retirement paradise are now numbered.
