Just what we needed
July 1st, 2008 by admin
I knew that our building looked old, but apparently it looks like it’s closed. The other day I had a person ask me how long our store had been closed. The truth is that our store is open, it’s just that the signage is so old that nobody can tell what we are, or if we are open. I knew we needed a change so I called in digital signage services and design team to come in. They accessed my needs, and gave me the tools that I needed to stick with my competition. Now everyone knows who we are, what we do, and when we are open.

How did this all start?
June 28th, 2008 by admin
I don”t know a lot about the history of viruses and even where they come from. If someone out there would like to share with me a quick history of viruses i would be very grateful. I am thinking about studying software development next year when I go to college. I’ve thought about this a lot lately and want to study something that not only interests me, but would be a good solid career that would be in demand by the time I graduate. I feel that having a better understanding of where viruses come from i’ll be able to make a good solid decision on whether or not this is something I want to spend my lifetime fixing.

The cleaners you don’t need a ticket for
June 27th, 2008 by admin
When you take your shirts to the cleaners they give you a ticket and you give them some time to clean and press your shirts. They take out stains and can even fix hems and tailor things for you. In the end this is as easy as requesting the service and coming back. When your windows registry starts to get “wrinkled” you can count on registry cleaners to take over and get the whole thing ironed out again for you. No need to know how to do it, or even how the registry works, you just tell the program (click one button usually) to scan and fix errors and it does!

Buying text links?
June 21st, 2008 by admin
It seems that many webmasters are now buying text links on websites with high page rank. The reason the do this is very simple. Everybody knows that Google’s algorythem is based primarly upon link popularity. So the more inbound links you have, the higher your website will move in the SERPS. I was amazed to discover that some webmasters are willing to pay as much as $250.00 per month for a single text link from a high PR website. As for me, I’m not prepared to pay that kind of money for a single inbound link. I think adding a tell a friend html script is a much better approach that can generate free traffic on a long-term basis. The best part is that you will create a viral effect and will increase the awareness of your website. That’s my advice.

Wind energy systems are cool.
June 19th, 2008 by admin
My friend really wants to build a self sufficient resort. He has been looking into wind energy systems and thinks they will provide him with all the “off the grid” energy he will need. Unlike yesteryear’s windmill, today’s wind turbines use technological innovations that have substantially reduced the cost of electricity generated from wind power. They produce more energy with less wind need to keep them working. Every year, it seems, working scientist improve the efficiency of great things like this. If it all works out as planed I may just move on to his resort permanently. It will make a great place to retire.

Cleaning Out The Windows Registry
June 19th, 2008 by admin
The Windows registry is a very important part of your computer. It stores all the important preference and settings files that tell your computer how to run all teh software and hardware that is loaded on it. The registry is also prone to lots of problems. It tends to get cluttered and corrupted from things like the incomplete uninstallation of software and hardware as well as things like viruses and spyware.
If you can find the best registry cleaner software then you can easily clean out the Windows registry. The registry should not be edited manually unless you know precisely what you’re doing. Software makes this much, much safer, and you have the ability to undo any changes made. I recommend checking out a program called RegCure.

Online HDTV Reviews
June 8th, 2008 by admin
I know that the purchase of an new television is not currently in our families budget, but with our current television gaining in years, and the not-too-distant changeover to digital broadcasting, I know that shopping for a new television is inevitable. I have been trying to research the products available by reading a lot of online HDTV reviews. The problem I am having is that they can be very confusing. I like the reviews that are written by customers because they are in layman’s terms, but I also recognize that the professional technology reviews are important as well. I just don’t understand all of the lingo associated with the televisions.

Research important when reviewing Dish Network vs Direct TV
June 1st, 2008 by admin
Over the years I have found that when faced with a major purchase decision a little bit of research goes a heck of a long way. Getting opinions from others helps me make decisions, not that I am swayed one way or another; rather, it’s having that information that makes me feel secure in the decision making process. Such is the case when looking at the two big names of satellite service, Dish Network vs Direct TV. Both companies are standard bearers for the service, having been in the business for years. That means there are countless others who’ve used these providers, and these people have a strong feeling one way or another of what is good (or bad) about each. Any opinions would be appreciated to help my decision.
