The Car of The Future
August 24th, 2008 by admin
Hybrid cars are fairly new to the automotive world, but not to those of us who really care about the environment. If you want to give back to mother earth, you simply have to go green. It does not mean that you have to give up having fun with cars, as there tons of custom things you can do to these cars. You can put fun number plates on the back, fuzzy dice in the mirror, and even install an airfoil. I think that all of us could benefit by spending less money on gas, and I think nature would appreciate it too.

Porsche Diecast Models Are For You
August 19th, 2008 by admin
Whether you want a sporty race car from days gone by, or a luxury model from today, Porsche diecast model cars are for you. You can add quality and sophistication to your collection with a Porsche model car.
Just like the real thing, Porsche means quality. Their motto is “There is no substitute”, and they mean it. You can not substitute any other vehicle in your collection that will showcase such quality.
Take the 1948 Porsche Roadster. It has doors that open, as does the hood and truck. It also has front wheel steering. The quality is unmatchable, yet it is so affordable.

Questions and Answers Regarding Clean Cars
August 15th, 2008 by admin
Wouldn’t the developing world be worried that green cars might cost more and therefore, really want to get the cars and worry later about the quality of the air? Somewhat to my surprise, it’s remarkable to me how many countries that are quite poor are beginning to demand clean vehicles. If one spends any time in Thailand, especially in Bangkok, the host of problems that plague the general public in that area are enormous and yet they have identified air pollution as a serious impediment to their future development, not only in terms of its impact on its own people, but also in terms of its attractiveness as a place for industry, tourists and so forth. So they see cleaning up the environment as an integral part of their economic development. I just use them as one example. I think there are many examples like that. That is becoming more the norm rather than the exception. One could say the same, for example, about Eastern Europe as it has developed. We’re creating all these incentives and indeed, requirements for cleaner vehicles. There are a lot of different ways that we’ve heard about, ways in which people are beginning to try to do that, such as electric cars, natural gas, fuel cells, and so on. How is this all going to develop in the ideal world? How should it develop? In other words, are we going to go through a period of time where there will be a kind of market competition among these various alternatives? Is there ultimately going to be, as a few people have either argued or predicted, an alternative of choice? Should we somehow all be getting together and tydng to decide what that is now and pool our resources to develop it? Creating the competition is the best way to get winners and if I would disagree a little perhaps with some others, I don’t think there will be a winner. I think if we create the right climate, there will be several technologies. If you enjoyed reading this post, check out my other writings on the automobile industry, such as my article about how to lookup license numbers online. me and my friends talking about electric cars today
August 13th, 2008 by admin
At work today, everybody was talking about saving the environment. Sarah star said she was going to buy an electric car, you know, one of those ones that drives around London, and never seems to get faster than 20 miles an hour. They do get free parking and you can charge them for free in Westminster.then we got on to hydrogen fuel cells, and How Do Hydrogen Cars Work
no one could answer me when I ask them a question, because no one has ever seen one. Car companies keep promising this technology, but so far I haven’t seen anything at a realistic price.

Used car batteries
August 9th, 2008 by admin
Although used car batteries are potentially harmful to human health, the proper handling and recycling management can control their hazardous effects. Almost all the components in used car batteries can be recycled back to good use when handled professionally. This is why recyclers find old car batteries to be a gold mine instead of a repugnant waste. As the price of lead rises in the market, metal smelting companies are looking into recycling used lead to augment the situation. And the recyclers are quick to respond to this surge in demand. On average, an automotive battery contains at least 21 pounds of lead, which is one hundred percent recyclable when handled properly.

Making your move easier: one way truck rental
August 8th, 2008 by admin
Moving a long distance can be tricky, but it gets one step easier with one way truck rental. When thinking about renting a van to move cross-country, I was confused by the implications — how do you get the van back to where you started from? Turns out you don’t have to. Large moving companies have many locations in many states. With a one way truck rental, you drive to your destination and drop the van or truck off at the nearest company depot. Outside of large metro areas, this might become complicated, since you might have fewer options available.

Up to 50% for $100 with water powered cars.
August 3rd, 2008 by admin
The numbers are really pretty simple. Four dollars per gallon of gas plus fifteen miles to the gallon in most trucks equals not okay. People are finally starting to change their driving habits, not because it’s good for the environment but because it’s good for their pocketbooks. I’ve seen advertisements for water powered cars, saying that people can increase their gas mileage by up to 50% with parts from their local hardware store. Not only that, but the parts cost under a hundred dollars. My brother spends more than that on gas for his truck in the space of a week. It makes sense to my pocketbook!
