Used car batteries

August 9th, 2008 by admin

Although used car batteries are potentially harmful to human health, the proper handling and recycling management can control their hazardous effects. Almost all the components in used car batteries can be recycled back to good use when handled professionally. This is why recyclers find old car batteries to be a gold mine instead of a repugnant waste. As the price of lead rises in the market, metal smelting companies are looking into recycling used lead to augment the situation. And the recyclers are quick to respond to this surge in demand. On average, an automotive battery contains at least 21 pounds of lead, which is one hundred percent recyclable when handled properly.

Making your move easier: one way truck rental

August 8th, 2008 by admin

Moving a long distance can be tricky, but it gets one step easier with one way truck rental. When thinking about renting a van to move cross-country, I was confused by the implications — how do you get the van back to where you started from? Turns out you don’t have to. Large moving companies have many locations in many states. With a one way truck rental, you drive to your destination and drop the van or truck off at the nearest company depot. Outside of large metro areas, this might become complicated, since you might have fewer options available.

Up to 50% for $100 with water powered cars.

August 3rd, 2008 by admin

The numbers are really pretty simple. Four dollars per gallon of gas plus fifteen miles to the gallon in most trucks equals not okay. People are finally starting to change their driving habits, not because it’s good for the environment but because it’s good for their pocketbooks. I’ve seen advertisements for water powered cars, saying that people can increase their gas mileage by up to 50% with parts from their local hardware store. Not only that, but the parts cost under a hundred dollars. My brother spends more than that on gas for his truck in the space of a week. It makes sense to my pocketbook!

Less water, more miles for cars

July 19th, 2008 by admin

It does not involve anything extraordinary to run your car on water. You will only buy a converter which is also called a kit for $150. You will install the kit in your engine and that will be all. The kit is self running and will only need power from your cars battery to run.

The amount of water you put I the water tank can be used over and over again. This is the feature that makes the water car economical. Hydrogen as a gas and fuel can be recycled over and over again. This means, when you put in any amount you are going to get over ten times more in energy.

Jeep Tyres

July 18th, 2008 by admin

I spotted this article about Jeep tyres on another blog and wondered does the tyres you have on you Jeep actually make that’s much difference? Do you really need different tyres for different surfaces. I have been driving a Jeep now on road and off road for about 25 years and I have never even thought about changing the tyres depending on where I was going. In all honesty it sounds like a real hassle to keep having to do this a thought Jeeps where built for all conditions and all terrains. I would be a little disappointed if I had to keep changing the tyres.

Personalized Number Plates

July 18th, 2008 by admin

You can either get a regular plate or you can purchase personalized number plates for your vehicles so that you your plates are unique. I’ve seen young people, moms, dads, grandparents, and other people driving cars with personalized plates. They can be a cute way to promote your business or just say a fun phrase. You see them all the time if you think about it, “M0MMY,” “Bo55,” “2CUTE,” “1 CEO,” “BROWN 2,” and a number of other mixes of letters and numbers creating phrases and words that either tell what car you are driving or just a cute phrase. There are many options that you can choose from.

Water kits to supplement gasoline engines

July 15th, 2008 by admin

The device that is going to make you run your car on water is a simple one. It is called a converter and it will enable you use the hydrogen engine. The engine produced is an efficient one and will reduce your gasoline costs. It has been estimated that users will have about 40% reduction in fuel consumption.

Perhaps the most important reason why you should run your car on water is the increase in mileage that you will get. The water engine will give you at least 80% increase in mileage. Aside that, you will have a smooth engine, a quieter one and a clean one too.

Where to find Merchants tires

July 13th, 2008 by admin

I was told by a friend of mine to bring my car to Merchants tires to have it looked at. I know nothing about cars and my friend said I could trust Merchants tires. With that said, I have no idea where they are located or where to find them. If I can’t find them where else would be a good place to take my car? I’m sure I need new tires, they are pretty bald and it is making a funny noise and jerks a bit when it is shifting gears. I do take it up for regular oil changes, maybe I could take it up there and have them recommend a place to me.

Do I need any special permit or license?

July 12th, 2008 by admin

I am going to be travelling around Europe, starting in the UK, for a few months. I want to get a left hand drive 4×4 to use for the trip, and I am wondering whether this is legal and whether it is feasible. Would I need any special permits or licenses to do this? I want to tour England, Spain, France, Italy, and Switzerland. Would this be possible in a left hand drive car? I don’t know much about the laws in these countries regarding driving, so I am trying to find out now while I am in the planning stages of my trip.
