Where can I sell my art online?

August 9th, 2008 by admin

I am trying to get my start as an artist, but so far I haven’t really been able to find a good place to sell my original arts. I was thinking that maybe there would be someplace online that I could sell my art, but I don’t know of a good website for this. Can anyone suggest where I might be able to do this? I suppose I could also start my own, but I don’t know much about how to let people know about my site and get web traffic to come and check out what I have to offer.

Attractions in Black Hills National Forest

August 5th, 2008 by admin

The Black Hills National Forest is an incredibly beautiful, though seemingly unlikely area.  The mountains seem to spring straight from the plains and are unconnected with the Rockies to the west.  In fact, these are the oldest mountains in North America and once stood thousands of feet taller.  Still, the peaks crest above 7,000 feet in elevation, making them an impressive sight, indeed. There are numerous attractions in Black Hills National Forest.  Perhaps the largest is the chance to view the Crazy Horse Monument.  This enormous sculpture is still being blasted from the living rock of the Hills and is enormously impressive, as well as culturally important.  In addition, visitors will find a number of great things in the park.Jagged granite peaks offer challenge to rock climbers, while numerous trails offer hikers, campers and backpackers the chance to explore a pristine wilderness.  Even history buffs can find something to do in the Hills.  The enormous amount of Indian history, as well as white history is impressive.  The relatively small impact human activity has had on the Hills is also impressive.  Enjoy the beauty of the area, kayak, swim, hike and learn about the incredible power of nature in this stunning park.

What is a Gong?

July 25th, 2008 by admin

A gong is a musical instrument usually found in Asian countries. They are circular and take the form of a flat metal disc which is hit with a mallet. There are several types of gongs; the suspended gongs, bossed gongs and bowl gongs. Suspended gongs are somewhat flat discs of metal which are vertically suspended on air thru a metal cord which passes through holes near to the top rim. Bossed gongs, on the other hand, are quite like the suspended gongs but they have a raised center boss and often played horizontally. Finally, bowl gongs are of course bowl shaped they rest on cushions and can be considered to belong more to bells. Gongs are often made of metals like bronze or brass, some in alloy and a few in bamboos.

Gangsta Cross Tattoos

July 25th, 2008 by admin

Have you noticed that it seems like almost everyone has a tattoo nowadays? They’re not just for biker’s and sailor’s anymore. Cross Tattoos are one of the most popular, especially among rappers, and other so called “gangsta’s” or “thugs”. Maybe they feel like they need some kind of protection after all that “hustlin” they’re doing. I work at a tattoo shop and they’re literally not a day that goes by where someone decked out in a 500 dollar outfit with a huge necklace and gold teeth comes in asking about a cross tattoo with a pair or praying hands or something like it.

Name of Soulja Boy’s new album has been announced

July 4th, 2008 by admin

Teen rapper Soulja Boy’s follow up to his debut blockbuster "Soulja Boy Tellem" is highly anticipated both by his fans and his detractors. Soulja Boy critics go as far as to say Soulja Boy is "ruining hip-hop" and call him the "Ringtone Rapper". Ice-T recently made the news by publicly dissing Soulja Boy, calling his music "garbage". Soulja Boy’s second album will give the public an indication of whether S. Beezy is here to stay or is last year’s flash in the pan.

Soulja Boy’s new album will drop in late summer /early fall in 2008, just in time for back to school.

So what is Soulja Boy’s new album going to be called? "Back to School", naturally!

Some of the tunes off "Back to School" have already been leaked, in typical Soulja Boy fashion. Soulja Boy promoted his own music and developed a huge following on MySpace before signing with a label. "iDance" and "Zooted" are two tunes available on the web that will be on the new album.

Find Wedding Photography in Leeds

July 3rd, 2008 by admin

It is a lot of fun having the opportunity to be a part of your best friend’s wedding. Not to mention having the distinct honor of getting to be Kate’s maid of honor. Instead of having a dedicated wedding planner, all of the bridesmaids decided to help Kate plan and take care of all the little things that arise when a person is trying to plan the perfect wedding. I decided to take on the task of finding the best wedding photography in Leeds. Thankfully, I just happen to know the people at Breeze Images, and I know they have the best quality for the best prices.
