SEO: What not to do

March 31st, 2009 by admin

The search engines have given less weighting to META tags and more relevancy weighting to sites that are preferred, of top of the range and contain unique, applicable information.

Most search engines have developed complete spam filters that track down the spammers from the real sites and penalize sites caught making a try to cheat the system. Google particularly has led the charge for quality over quantity.

Fortuitously, the web site aspects that most search engines favor are also those that visitors like. Build a quality site with heaps of text, recent, significant content that other sites link to, a solid navigation system, submit it by hand to favored directories and search engines and you will be on your way to high rankings in no time.

So, it is important to do a good job. Or hire a good SEO Company: SEO Singapore
