One has to wonder about the effects that the mortgage crisis is having on Atascadero real estate. Some many communities throughout the country have been hard hit with falling prices and high foreclosure rates. Initially, the rash of foreclosures were viewed as the problem of the homeowner who purchase more house than he or she could afford. Now, however, many have come to realize that this is not just a one dimensional problem. All types of industries and communities have been hard hit as a result. The recovery period may take longer than the time for this situation to hit the fan.
