Affordable Auto Insurance — Because Retired Persons Generally Drive Less

Many companies offer a retiree discount thus making it easier for them to get affordable auto insurance. The obvious logic for this discount is that retirees usually drive less. This will effectively lower anybody’s mileage.
The fine points for each insurance company may differ but this is certainly a good way to cut down your auto insurance cost. Get to know your insurance carrier’s position on this from your agent. If for some reasons they do NOT have a retiree discount, don’t fail to inform your insurance agent about your change in mileage. You are entitled to a a cheaper rate if the difference in your mileage is considerable.
