Bible study tools for kids

May 30th, 2008 by admin

Many parents ask me what are my personal recommendations when it comes to selecting Bible study tools for children. What you select in the way of Bible study resources for your kids depends, of course, on factors such as their prior religious training, their reading ability, their personality type, and your budget. At the very minimum, your child needs to be equipped with a translation of the Bible that they can understand and read for themselves. Younger children can be encouraged to use Bible story books — the younger ones seem to delight in looking at the pictures, especially. Older kids such as teenagers may enjoy the reading religious periodicals such as magazines or biblically-themed books such as biographies of famous missionaries or church leaders.

Sanibel Island Hotels

May 29th, 2008 by admin

Three Sanibel Island hotels can be classified into a family hotel, romance hotels, a luxury travel hotels and an adventure hotel.. First up is the Sundial Beach Resort: This hotel is said to be the largest resort on Sanibel Island.

It does lack intimacy, but of all the available family Sanibel Island hotels, this one has plenty keep families occupied, from a palm studded, beachside pool area to marine biology programs and a small ecology center.

Second is Sanibel’s Seaside Inn: which according to various hotels reviews, is a comfortable and friendly Key West-style hotel which enjoys a tranquil location near the island’s southeastern end. It has duplex, 1960s-style cottages which are spacious and bright, and if you can handle not having a kitchen, the beach front rooms do have screened porches face the Gulf.

Last is the Song of the Sea which is popular with Europeans. This inn has motel-like efficiencies and one bedroom suites with plantation-style shutters and sliding glass doors which open to screened porches.

Animal Articles

May 29th, 2008 by admin

I love reading articles about different pets, from articles about dogs to articles about goldfish (though I really don’t think I have read many articles about goldfish!) Right now I am trying to help my daughter decide which pet might be right for her. I don’t think she is quite old enough to take care of a dog, I would end up doing all the work, so I am helping her look up different possible pets on the internet so she can read about them and we can see if they might be something she could take care of herself.

I just finished filling up the new brochure display.

May 29th, 2008 by admin

I work in a dentist’s office. We recently relocated the office. Our new display for brochures just arrived today. It is one that stands up in the room as opposed to one that hangs on the wall. Since it didn’t need to be installed or hung up, and since I wasn’t really busy this afternoon, I decided to put brochures in the display. I just finished filling up the new brochure display. There are brochures about how to encourage your children to brush properly, brochures on root canals, brochures about veneers, and many more.

Why not look for coupons for jtv.com?

May 29th, 2008 by admin

If their is a coupon out there I will find it. Promotional codes are a bit tougher…where do you get those from? Every time I am on a website and it asks me for a promotional code I wonder where can I find one to use…Anyway, coupons for jtv.com are out there and are readily available. This company has terrific deals on all of the latest jewelry designs and styles. I always love to find discout coupons for them so I look on their site as well as any other coupon site that is out there. Coupons and promo codes are like the icing on top!

Do famous musicians know how to read guitar tabs?

May 29th, 2008 by admin

I was watching a movie on U2 the other day and I saw Bono writing some things down on a clipboard. He was writing a song with the Edge. The Edge is my favourite guitarist of all time. He doesn’t just play the guitar, he plays a lot of different instruments and can arrange music too. He and Bono write a lot of the music for the band together. I am sure he would know how to read guitar tabs, because he seems like a well rounded guy. But I wonder if other older musicians do to, or do they just say the heck with it? I mean, they’re already famous anyway.

What are good credit cards?

May 28th, 2008 by admin

Their is no such thing as bad credit cards, just one that is either running with a high interest rate or one that is low. Good or bad are relative to your needs. A high APR credit card may have a higher limit and if you can afford it then this could help you. If you want the lowest interest rate then you would want to pick a card that may have a lower spending limit but a low interest rate on the credit purchases. Some cards have ridiculously high APR’s but you don’t have to use them, this doesn’t make them a bad card just one you don’t need.

Copywriting for fun

May 28th, 2008 by admin

Since I was about 18 I have been doing copywriting for fun. I have over the years learned to really write with impact and flair and would write my friends eBay ad copy for them just to see their product sell like crazy. When I learned that I could do this for a living I really got excited. At first it was hard to accept money for it because I truly got a thrill out of just writing. I felt guilty that I was making money doing something I loved but it was that I loved it that made my writing really speak to the reader!

Preventing Industrial Deafness

May 28th, 2008 by admin

It may seem obvious but the best way to combat noise induced hearing loss within the workplace is by generating less noise in the first place through proper maintenance of machinery and using equipment which meets the criteria laid down in the Health and Safety regulations.  If circumstances dictate that noisy machinery needs to be used than all necessary steps should be taken to insulate the machine and the immediate area around it.  Workers without essential hearing protection should be kept well away from the machine and its environs.  Taking simple precautions such as ensuring machinery is insulated and workers protected with ear defenders and other safety aids will radically reduce the number of industrial deafness cases.
